The opportunity
- To take ownership and responsibility of projects, developing your skills and confidence, with close support from senior colleagues.
- To be part of a smaller team of less than 50 people, delivering in several countries, out of two offices.
- To work across a diverse portfolio of high-quality projects, including in commercial, logistics and distribution, residential and retail.
- To be part of the growth and development of a newer office (less than 5 years old) and all the opportunities that brings, working with talented and motivated leaders.
- To work out of high-quality office space in Bath, with good desk level views over the city to the surrounding hills, roof terrace, high-spec kitchen and dining break-out area (freshly ground coffee beans, chilled water, and beer fridge included). Walk from within the city, Bath Spa train station, or cycle/run/jog/walk from the surrounding area and enjoy the plush showers, secure lockers, and cycle storage.
- Encouraged and supported to become a Chartered Civil Engineer.
- Competitive and rounded remuneration package, plus discretionary bonuses (typically worth over 10% per annum).
- To be part of a close-knit team, with regular interaction with owner engineers who deliver their promises.

- Proactive and communicative
- A good civil designer and a developing project engineer, who can be entrusted to take ownership of project delivery including collaborating with internal and external project team members and clients (with as much or as little support as you need). A minimum of 3 years UK market experience is essential.
- Developing civil engineering designs (using tools including Micro Drainage and Causeway Flow)
- Carrying out site visits and surveys, with support as required (full driving licence required).
- Attending design team and client meetings both in person and remotely.
- Motivated to grow yourself and the company and to contribute to the operations of the office, including marketing and work-winning activities if this appeals.
