Job Description
Whether it is special risk, detection or any sprinkler system, we provide service and maintenance of systems combined with 24/7 emergency call-out.\\n\\nResponsibilities\\n\\n * Must have experience in servicing all types of the following valve sets – Wet, dry, alternate, deluge and pre-Action.\\n\\n * Must be able to carry out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks.\\n\\n * Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualified would be desirable but not essential.\\n\\n * Plumbing / Piping Knowledge & fault finding on sprinkler systems – essential.\\n\\n * Previous experience gained within Commercial / Industrial buildings environment.\\n\\n * Experienced in small works install.\\n\\n * Understanding and exposure to reporting electronically.\\n\\n * Full driving licence\\n\\n * DBS check\\n\\n * Flexible approach to working hours and location, as will cover large area of the UK\\n\\n * Ability to work unsupervised or in a team\\n\\n * Professional, pleasant attitude and smart in appearance, capable of communicating diplomatically to strengthen customer relationships.\\n\\n * Polite communication skills and ability to know when to escalate problems\\n\\n * IT literate as all jobs are booked on tablets\\n\\n * Ability to problem solve and use own initiative when on site\\n\\n * Be punctual and reliable\\n\\n * Provide an excellent customer experience\\n\\nWhat you will receive from Argus Fire\\n\\n * Competitive salary, including overtime and callouts\\n\\n * Life Insurance\\n\\n * Company Vehicle\\n\\n * Mobile Phone\\n\\n * Fuel Card\\n\\n * Work Tablet\\n\\n * 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays\\n\\n * Argus Fire branded clothing\\n\\n * Core working days Monday – Friday (when not on call)\\n\\nThis role would suit a Service Engineer, Multiskilled Engineer, Commercial Sprinkler Engineer, Sprinkler Service Maintenance Engineer\\n\\nFor information on the role please call Giles Churchill – Director – Fire at Amida Solution on (phone number removed).
