Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a £700k fit-out project comprising four high-end residential apartments in Fulham. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing exclusive residential refurbishments and luxury fit-out projects in London. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all site activities from start to completion.
- Oversee subcontractors, trades, and suppliers, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain and manage a detailed construction programme and daily site records.
- Enforce site health & safety, ensuring all works are conducted in line with SMSTS and First Aid requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
- Coordinate with the project manager, design team, and client representatives.
- Ensure procurement, deliveries, and logistics are planned and executed efficiently.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays or disruptions.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional site environment.
- Deliver the project within budget, programme, and to exacting high-end finish standards.
Requirements
- SMSTS certification (essential)
- First Aid at Work (essential)
- Strong experience delivering high-end residential fit-outs and refurbishments in London
- Proven ability to manage projects of similar scale (£500k–£1m)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client expectations
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
- Solid understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and technical detailing
