With a 1 billion T/O and aiming to grow to 2 billion in the next 5 to 7 years, my client requires the services of a HR Professional with 5 to 8+ years of experience to work in one of their flagship regional business units.
The business unit this HR professional will be working out of is their South West region.
The ideal candidate would have a background in construction, such as developer, main contractor, or sub-contractor. Experience in infrastructure, aviation, or civils is also desirable. Additionally, candidates from manufacturing, engineering, or real estate backgrounds will be considered.
Key skills and responsibilities of the role include:
- At least a CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher, and/or equivalent within BSc or MSc
- Candidates currently in similar roles or seeking the next step in their career will be considered
- Proven managerial ability, capable of managing a team of up to 2 HR professionals
- Reporting initially to the Regional Managing Director on operational duties, with a dotted line to the Group HR Director on technical HR matters
- Experience in or willingness to work in a decentralized, hands-off environment with full autonomy
