For Companies My client is a well-established building envelope subcontractor that has been trading for well over 30 years, working on various packages ranging from £4 million to £20 million in value. Tier 1 and 2 contractors, as well as leading developers, is typically their route to market, working on commercial office, residential, mixed use, public and private sector contracts.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates across various different facade packages
- Deep understanding of materials, labour and manufacturing processes to ensure accurate and competitive project bids
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and suppliers to gather necessary information
- Prepare and submit detailed and competitive bid proposals
- Identify potential risks and mitigate them through detailed analysis
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather and verify project information
- Provide technical support and clarifications during the project bidding process
Depending on the calibre of the candidate, my client would look to pay up to £85k for the right person.
