My client is looking for a Light Commercial Goods Vehicle Technician
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Light Commercial Goods Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a range of LCVs, ensuring top performance and safety for our customers’ fleets.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on light commercial vehicles (e.g., vans, small trucks).
*
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools.
*
Perform MOT preparation and repairs to ensure vehicles meet UK regulatory standards.
*
Carry out servicing, including brakes, suspension, engines, and transmissions.
*
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
*
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
*
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented technician with the following skills and qualifications:
Essential:
*
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or similar.
*
Proven experience as an LCV or commercial vehicle technician.
*
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques.
*
Familiarity with UK MOT standards and vehicle compliance requirements.
*
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and interpret results accurately.
*
Full UK driving licence (C1 minmum ideally Category C ).
*
Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
