The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire and life-safety business. This is a field-based role covering London and the South, offering the opportunity to work across a diverse customer portfolio. You will be responsible for planned servicing, reactive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on a range of fire detection and alarm systems. The successful candidate will be an experienced, customer-focused engineer who is confident working independently and committed to delivering high standards of safety, compliance and technical service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance on fire detection and alarm systems
- Attend reactive call-outs and diagnose faults efficiently
- Complete repairs and make-safe works where required
- Provide clear recommendations for any additional or remedial works
- Produce accurate, detailed and audit-ready engineer reports
- Record test results, findings, actions taken and compliance information
- Work in accordance with relevant British Standards, site requirements, risk assessments and method statements
