Location: Stourbridge

Reports To: Commercial Manager

As the Pre-Construction Contract Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the entire contract agreement process and facilitating effective communication between all parties involved in the process, acting as liaison between the sales, commercial and legal departments, ensuring compliance with company governance and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating all activities and communications related to the preparation, review and execution of contracts
  • Maintaining accurate records of all contracts and status of agreement and ensuring they are executed in accordance with company policies and governance
  • Working closely with various departments, including legal, procurement and commercial, to facilitate contract execution and resolve any issues that arise
  • Serving as a point of contact for all stakeholders regarding contract-related enquiries and issues
  • Ability to make clear decisions based on the company’s risk portfolio

Essential Skills

  • Prior experience in contract management or a similar role
  • Experience within the commercial sector of the construction industry would be desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of the template construction contracts - JCT, NEC, FIDIC
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
