Are you a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE with some experience in corporate or commercial law? Would you like to work for a growing, boutique firm in the heart of Cheltenham? If so, we could have just the opportunity for you!
If you want to progress in your career as a Corporate Solicitor joining a firm where you’ll be trusted, supported, and challenged from day one, my client should be your next move! My client is a straight-talking, business-savvy firm with clients across the UK, from sole traders to household name PLCs. They don’t do fluff or hierarchy; they simply deliver outstanding legal advice the way they would want it themselves: pragmatic, progressive, and human-centric.
The role: Working across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, from shareholder agreements and company articles to acquisitions, disposals, and fundraising deals; you’ll also support SME clients with day-to-day contracts like supply agreements and terms of business. You’ll be given lots of responsibility but will also be fully supported to not only excel but advance your career and develop your skill set. You’ll also be encouraged to get out and about into the business community, attending exciting events, promoting yourself and the brand. The team are a collaborative and generous one that are happy to share knowledge and coffee rounds!
Who we’re looking for: You must be trained in England and Wales (or CILEX) and have a minimum of 2 years PQE. With my client, it’s not about where you trained or what grade you achieved. What matters is your attitude and how you use the law to help clients get results. It’s about how you work as a team player. You’ll need a solid grounding, a sense of humour, and the ability to think like a lawyer and as a businessperson. This is a Cheltenham-based role. If you’re not local, you must be happy to relocate.
What you’ll get: You’ll be part of a flexible, fun, dynamic and supportive working environment, where you can choose a hybrid or full-time office model. The holiday allowance is 24 days holiday plus bank holidays including your birthday off and a culture of trust and autonomy. It’s a dynamic, top-tier and collaborative team where you’ll be working alongside the partners.
Full job descriptions will be provided to candidates we feel meet the criteria when applications are submitted. Applications are welcomed from a variety of demographics and abilities.
