My client is an established, multi-disciplinary professional services firm, and they are looking for an Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients with the highest quality of service and due diligence. Based a minimum of three days a week in either Bristol or Cheltenham, this is a full-time role and duties will include:
- Preparing month end statutory accounts for a range of sole traders, SMEs and larger businesses.
- Producing management accounts, financial statements and completing VAT returns.
- Preparing a variety of tax returns and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for clients.
- Processing invoices and expenses.
- Proactively advising clients on market trends and supporting with cashflow and budget management.
- Other relevant duties in relation to accountancy and bookkeeping.
To be considered for this exciting position you will be a diligent, hardworking, responsible individual who takes pride in providing a high quality of work and managing a portfolio with commitment and accuracy. The successful candidate will have had some exposure to practice accounting and will be either part qualified or qualified by ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
To be considered, you will be located nearby to either Cheltenham or Bristol and be happy to work either hybrid or in one of the offices. You will take accountability and responsibility and enjoy contributing to a friendly and hard working team. Candidates with a variety of levels of experience will all be considered as attitude to work is the most important thing.
