As a part of the UK and Ireland team, the NHS Value & Partnership Manager (NHSVP) role supports the development and delivery of specific local and national projects carried out in collaboration with healthcare system stakeholders in the UK and Ireland. Projects may include joint working, collaborative working, market access. The role has responsibility for specific non-promotional national activities that are carried out in accordance with all applicable internal and external policies and regulations. The NHSVP role is 100% non-promotional, activity is driven by the needs of the business and UKI business plan. The activity of the NHSVP role is supported by appropriate training and governance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of specific aspects of the UK and Ireland business plan in collaboration with NHSVP AD and the cross functional team.
- Be the responsible person for the development and delivery of specific national and local projects as outlined in the UKI NHSVP plan and as documented as part of the NHSVP goals.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with national and regional payors, policy makers and other relevant stakeholders across the UK and Ireland.
- Planning, tracking, and monitoring of budgets for specific projects and customer related activities.
- Active liaison with all relevant internal colleagues including Medical Affairs, Compliance, Legal, Patient advocacy, General manager, Key Account managers.
- Ensure a high level of policy and therapeutic area knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all company & applicable external regulations e.g. ABPI code of Practice.
- Role model Amicus behaviours and values.
Key Activities
- Be the responsible person for the development and delivery of specific collaborative and joint working projects that partner with the NHS with the aim of improving patient care.
- Mapping of national and regional policy and services plans for rare disease and identification of opportunities to collaborate to improve patient care.
- Responsible for supporting the development and delivery of plans to positively impact the policy environment to improve access to services and medicines for patients living with rare disease in the UK and Ireland.
- Be the responsible person for the delivery of specific national and local projects as outlined in the business plan and documented as part of the NHSVP goals.

Requirements
Educational Requirements: Scientific and/or Business Degree
Professional Work Experience:
- Outstanding project management with proven success
- Excellent knowledge of NHS healthcare systems and specialised commissioning
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the collaborative working contracting process
- Experience and demonstrated success in working in partnership across the UK healthcare system, for example, NHS collaborative Working
- Pharmaceutical sales, marketing & market access experience
- Proven leadership and a track record of project delivery in cross functional and matrix teams
- Proven ability to create, build, and sustain relationships
- Passion for the job, dedicated to role modelling Amicus behaviours and values
- Entrepreneurship and hands on-mentality
- Excellent planning, organisation & business analytics skills
- Strong presentation and effective interpersonal skills
- The ability to understand, communicate and present complex information to a high standard

Location
This position will be field-based. There will be a high level of domestic travel.
