We are working with a leading international law firm seeking an Employment Litigation Associate (1+ PQE) to join a highly specialist disputes team in London. This is a rare opportunity for a lawyer who wants to move away from generalist employment work and build a deep specialism in High Court employment disputes and arbitration.

The Opportunity

  • You will join a market-leading Employment team advising on high-value, complex and often high-profile contentious matters, with a strong focus on:
    • High Court employment litigation and arbitration
    • Restrictive covenant disputes and team move litigation
    • Injunctions (obtaining, resisting and enforcing)
    • Confidential information and breach of contract claims
    • Senior executive disputes, including bonus and exit-related litigation
    • Financial services-related employment disputes

This is a contentious specialist role, not a general advisory position.

What They’re Looking For

  • 1+ PQE in employment litigation (or strong contentious experience within employment law)
  • Exposure to High Court and/or arbitration work
  • Strong drafting, analytical and written advocacy skills
  • A genuine interest in specialising in employment disputes
  • A commercial, proactive and detail-driven approach
  • Experience with financial services clients is helpful but not essential.

Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to join one of the most respected employment litigation practices in the market, working alongside leading practitioners on high-value, strategically important disputes. You can expect:

  • A true specialist litigation career path (not mixed advisory work)
  • Exposure to complex, high-profile employment disputes
  • Close involvement in strategy and client-facing work from early stage
  • A collaborative, high-performing but supportive team culture
  • Strong progression opportunities within a growing practice

If you’re an Employment Lawyer considering a move, or want to explore specialist High Court employment litigation opportunities in London, feel free to get in touch for a confidential discussion.
