I'm recruiting on behalf of a top-tier client β a highly regarded international law firm with a market-leading Financial Services Funds practice. They're looking for a talented Regulated Funds Associate to join their team in either London or Bristol. This is a genuinely high-quality seat β the team is recognised for combining deep regulatory expertise with a commercial, client-focused approach, and you'll get early responsibility and real client exposure from day one.
What you'll be doing:
- Advising on the launch, restructuring, promotion and operation of regulated funds including UCITS
- Drafting and negotiating fund agreements β custody, depositary, administration, distribution and more
- Supporting corporate and strategic transactions involving asset and wealth managers
- Advising on financial services regulatory requirements and retail investment product documentation
- Acting for institutional investors on fund investments
What they're looking for:
- Around 2β3 years' PQE with regulated funds experience at a leading practice
- Strong academic background and genuine interest in the investment funds sector
- Solid grasp of financial services regulation
- Commercial mindset and strong client communication skills
- Comfortable working autonomously, with good judgement on when to escalate
