My client, a leading top-50 UK law firm, is seeking an experienced Construction Solicitor to join their highly regarded London Construction Team. This is a standout opportunity for a senior solicitor ready to take on complex, high-profile work alongside a team of genuine specialists.
The Opportunity
- You'll advise a roster of household-name clients on some of the UK's most significant construction and infrastructure projects — from transformative urban regeneration schemes to major process plant and power generation contracts.
- Working closely with seven Partners and a team of 21 legal professionals, you'll be at the heart of a nationally recognised practice with real depth and ambition.
- Your caseload will span:
- Development and infrastructure projects
- Corporate real estate acquisitions and disposals
- Property finance
- Process plant and associated documentation
- JCT and NEC standard form contracts and development agreements
What Makes This Role Different
This isn't just another generalist construction practice. Several partners and senior team members have worked in-house for major industry players, meaning you'll be joining a group that truly understands the commercial realities facing clients — not just the legal ones. The team tackles cutting-edge challenges including offsite construction, digital tools, skills shortages, and material price volatility, advising clients from scheme inception through to project completion and beyond. Candidates from private practice or industry backgrounds are equally welcome.
About You
- 5+ PQE in construction law with a strong non-contentious focus
- Demonstrable expertise in JCT, NEC, development agreements, and/or process plant contracts
- Experience advising on the employer/developer side (contractor/supply-side experience also valued)
- Commercially minded, client-focused, and keen to contribute to a high-performing team
If you're a senior construction solicitor looking for a role where you can genuinely make your mark on landmark projects and grow within a forward-thinking firm, we'd love to hear from you.
