We are an experienced, specialist team of tenacious, yet friendly lawyers.
Passionate about representing our clients’ interests, with offices in Exeter, Bridgwater, Minehead, Taunton, Wellington, Ilminster, Yeovil, Martock and Weymouth.
We are looking for an additional team member for our Weymouth office to fill the role of Post Completion Clerk.
As a Post Completions Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting the Residential Property team by ensuring all post-completion matters are handled accurately and efficiently.
You will liaise with clients, solicitors, and external organisations to complete necessary registrations and filings, ensuring deadlines are met and compliance is maintained.
- Responsibilites-
- Preparing completion letters and documents and checking completion statements on client and office accounts.
- Prepare and submit, AP1 applications to the land registry online portal.
- Prepare and ensure completion of stamp duty land tax returns and submissions.
- Submitting applications to Land Registry.
- Dealing with Land Registry requisitions and responding accurately and promptly to resolve issues.
- Monitor deadlines to ensure all registrations and filings and complete promptly.
- Communicating with clients, solicitors, lenders and the Land Registry as required.
- Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate records.
- File deeds and documents correctly once received from Land Registry.
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.

- Proven experience in handing Land Registry applications and requisitions is essential.
- Strong understanding of post-completion processes within residential property.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines effectively.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
