We are ready to start looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (Nights) to join us from the very beginning.

The role

In this role, you will lead clinical care on shift, supporting safe, effective and person-centred nursing practice.

Working with residents, relatives, colleagues and external professionals, you will help ensure care is well planned, responsive and delivered with dignity, kindness and professionalism.

Various shifts available inclusive of the requirement to work alternate weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate clinical care on shift, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred support.
  • Complete assessments, care plans and risk reviews, responding promptly to changes in residents' needs.
  • Administer and oversee medication safely, maintaining accurate clinical records and supporting good governance.
  • Work in line with the NMC Code, safeguarding requirements, CQC standards and internal policies.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, relatives, colleagues and external healthcare professionals.
  • Support and guide care colleagues, promoting teamwork, learning and a positive, values-led culture.
  • Contribute to health and safety, infection prevention, audits, training and continuous improvement within the home.

About You

You will be a registered nurse with an active NMC PIN and a passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

You will bring strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead a shift, support colleagues and build positive relationships with residents and their families.

Experience in a care home setting is desirable, but most important is your commitment to kindness, dignity, teamwork and continuous improvement.
