We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Deputy Manager to join Greenland's Meadow, our brand‑new care home in Taunton. This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday. You’ll support and deputise for the Registered Home Manager, helping to deliver safe, person‑centred, high‑quality care while providing visible leadership across the home. This role is ideal for a confident care leader who values dignity, kindness and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Deputising for the Home Manager and supporting day‑to‑day operations
- Leading and supporting staff to deliver outstanding person‑centred care
- Overseeing assessments, care planning and quality assurance
- Supporting CQC compliance and inspections
- Assisting with recruitment, supervision, appraisals and staff development
- Supporting safe staffing levels, rotas and on‑call cover
About You
- NMC registered Level 4/5 qualification or equivalent leadership experience
- Experience in residential or nursing care at senior level
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and care planning
- Compassionate, organised and confident leader
