The role: In this role, you will support residents with their daily routines, promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing. Working as part of a caring and supportive team, you will provide person‑centred care and help create positive experiences for residents every day. All we ask for is a minimum of one‑shift per month, so that you stay familiar to our residents and up to date to training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Getting to know residents as individuals and supporting them in a way that reflects their personal needs, choices and routines.
  • Helping residents with day‑to‑day activities while encouraging independence, dignity and wellbeing.
  • Building warm, positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and visiting professionals.
  • Noticing the small things that matter and sharing any changes or concerns with the team so residents receive the right support.
  • Keeping clear care records and communicating well with colleagues to help provide consistent, high‑quality care.
  • Working safely and thoughtfully, following guidance around safeguarding, infection prevention, confidentiality and wellbeing.
  • Being part of a friendly team and helping to create a home where residents feel comfortable, respected and cared for.

About You:

You will be caring, reliable and committed to making a positive difference to residents' lives. You will bring a kind and respectful approach, good communication skills and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in care is welcome, but what matters most is your passion for supporting people and working well as part of a team.
