- Fluency in English and one additional language (preferred).
- A keen and inquisitive mind able to gather, analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to identify and forecast trends, strategies and competitive dynamics within the researched sector.

- Conduct primary and secondary research into markets and businesses through desk research and interviews (telephone and in person)
- Produce high-level conference agendas including issuing calls for papers and liaising with speakers, working in close collaboration with the event manager
- Build and maintain a strong network of key industry professionals, inviting them to speak at the event and to advise on emerging industry trends, including creating advisory boards where appropriate
- Act as product lead for assigned events, project-managing delivery in collaboration with operations, sales, and marketing teams to ensure deadlines and revenue targets are met
- Oversee the full product lifecycle of events, including growth and scaling opportunities, new delivery models, and the development of new product business cases
- Design and deliver engaging conference formats, using innovative and interactive approaches to enhance delegate experience and commercial value
- Produce compelling written copy for marketing campaigns, including email, social media, online publications, and conference websites
- Work closely with subject-matter experts across the business to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

- Identify and develop opportunities for new conferences, portfolio expansion and innovative event models and formats within and beyond the plastics sector
