An exciting opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic, experienced individual to join our dynamic event team. You'll receive support from our in-house event producers, sales managers, and marketing executives and will work on existing and new conferences across Europe, the US, and Asia. The role:

  • Responsible for operational and logistical delivery of a portfolio of virtual and in-person event projects
  • Provide on-going customer service, through post-sale interactions, developing and maintaining relationships
  • Track, maintain, report on, and communicate consistent milestones and priorities on each event project
  • Deliver events on time, within brand and budget, which exceed expectations
  • Building, maintaining and administrating events on an online event platform
  • Manage and develop supplier relationships to ensure best value and engaged service
  • Responsible for on-site / online and transactional collateral collation and production
  • Work with marketing and production teams to deliver effective marketing campaigns
  • Book, confirm and communicate cost-effective project team travel arrangements for events
  • Develop pre-event communication plans for internal stakeholders, venues, and external suppliers
  • Responsible for on-site / online delivery, customer experience and delegate relationship development
  • Demonstrate agile thinking, troubleshooting issues and deviations to event plans, before and during the live event
  • Regular national and international travel to operate events (Please note, this role requires full UK working rights and as the position requires regular travel to the United States you will need to be eligible for a US visitor’s visa.)

About you:

  • Educated to degree level or has industry experience
  • Ability to make decisions and think independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage own workload and multiple projects
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Interest in the topics, aptitude to learn and retain industry information
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • IT literate ‐ Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), internet and social media, understanding of CRM systems and event hosting platforms
