We are currently recruiting for an established Water Hygiene and Legionella compliance company that is looking to appoint an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to cover sites throughout Kent and the surrounding areas.

The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments across a range of commercial and industrial properties.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG274 and BS 8580-1
- Assessing hot and cold water systems, including CWSTs, calorifiers, TMVs and associated distribution systems
- Producing detailed schematic drawings of water systems
- Identifying potential Legionella risks and areas of non-compliance
- Producing clear and technically accurate risk assessment reports
- Providing practical recommendations and remedial actions
- Reviewing existing control measures, site logbooks and previous risk assessments
- Liaising with clients and site contacts regarding findings and recommendations
- Ensuring reports and documentation are completed within required timescales
- Managing your own workload and travel throughout the Kent region
What We're Looking For
Candidates should have:
- Previous experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
- Good working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274 and BS 8580-1
- Experience assessing commercial hot and cold water systems
- Ability to produce accurate reports and water system schematics
- Good technical knowledge of Legionella control and Water Hygiene
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own diary
- Full UK driving licence
Experience carrying out risk assessments on more complex water systems would be advantageous.

- £32,000 £40,000 basic salary, depending on experience
