You'll join an established maintenance team on-site in Hinckley, keeping cutting-edge automated material handling systems running at peak performance. Day to day, you'll split your time between planned preventative work and reactive fault-finding β with the tools, systems, and team around you to do both properly.
You Will
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance across automated material handling systems
- Respond to breakdowns quickly, diagnosing and resolving faults to minimise downtime
- Fault-find on electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Maintain conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, and automated handling systems
- Use the CMMS to log maintenance activity and track performance data
What you'll bring
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering
- Proven maintenance experience in logistics, automation, FMCG, or manufacturing
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems
- Hands-on experience with conveyors, drives, gearboxes, and pneumatics
- Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends
- Experience with CMMS platforms
- Previous work in a high-speed automated logistics environment
- Exposure to robotics or advanced sortation systems
