In this vital role you will drive business performance across a strategically important North West territory, building strong partnerships with key stakeholders across thoracic oncology. You will translate national brand strategy into effective local execution, develop account plans, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support appropriate and compliant use of our lung cancer portfolio while helping improve patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the business for the North West territory, developing and maintaining robust account and territory plans across priority accounts.
- Build insight into local lung cancer pathways, stakeholder networks, access challenges, and opportunities.
- Deliver high-quality, compliant customer engagement with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
- Drive sales performance through effective account management, prioritisation, and execution.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen local advocacy in line with brand strategy and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with medical, market access, marketing, healthcare solutions, and leadership teams to address barriers and maximise opportunities.
- Use CRM, Veeva, and account planning tools to track activity, manage commitments, and support business decisions.
- Share customer and market insights to inform strategy, enhance execution, and improve patient impact.
You will be joining a focused, high-performing commercial team in a dynamic Thoracic Franchise within the Oncology Business Unit.
What we expect of you:
- Proven pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales success within secondary care or specialist medicines.
- Thoracic oncology or lung cancer expertise is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Good understanding of NHS pathways and local healthcare systems.
- Ability to build credible relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Effective account planning, stakeholder management, and prioritisation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and execution focus as well as commercially minded, organised, results-focused and proactive in identifying opportunities.
- Collaborative approach with experience working cross-functionally.
- ABPI qualified (or willing to obtain within the required timeframe).
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory.
- Comfortable managing a large territory and translating insight into action.
