PE Global are currently recruiting for a Market Access Manager for a contract role with a leading multinational Pharma client based in Uxbridge (mostly remote). In this vital role you will represent Amgen with senior stakeholders across the defined integrated care system (ICS) footprint ensuring that opportunities to accelerate access and uptake of Amgen medicines are fully realised. The role will involve defining and implementing innovative and value-based solutions including delivery of strategic collaborations with NHS organisations aimed at delivering health improvement.
Responsibilities
- Building effective strategies aimed at delivering commercial success across the Amgen portfolio whilst supporting improved health system and patient outcomes.
- Shaping and implementing a clear stakeholder plan reflecting key decision makers and influencers impacting on Amgen interests as outlined in the strategic plan.
- Working cross-functionally with Key Account Managers and Regional Business Managers, to capture key insights across the health system leading to improved decision making.
- Representing wider VAP organisation in the role as category lead for a designated brand with critical focus on demonstrating high levels of knowledge and insight to inform strategy.
- To identify, develop and manage key strategic collaborations (joint working) and/or other relevant value-based solutions that deliver positive outcomes for the customer, patients and Amgen.
- Delivering complex value arguments to relevant stakeholders across the health system, that result in improved positioning for Amgen medicines.
- To work closely with the Access leads in VAP to identify and further inform opportunities to influence national policy levers and to ensure that key policies and incentives relating to the Amgen portfolio are being maximised across the ICS.
- To ensure all activity is compliant with Amgen SOPs and the ABPI Code of Practice.
Requirements
- High level knowledge and insight into the health system with strong understanding of relevant health system priorities, policies and trends.
- Track record of developing and managing strategic relationships with senior NHS stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in strategic planning and delivery of tactical plans.
- Multiple experiences in delivering high value strategic programmes and collaborations with demonstrable impact on customer, patient and Amgen needs.
- Strong understanding of patient pathways relating to Amgen therapy areas.
- Ability to identify and influence creation of programmes, materials, messaging to support and enhance the quality of engagement with NHS.
- Proven experience of leading and collaborating cross-functionally across the business and ability to influence customer and brand strategy.
- Ability to role model Amgen behaviours and values.
