What you will do
The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will support our drive for world class EHS performance for the JAPAC region. The manager will report to the Global Commercial Operations EHS director and will be located in the Singapore office.
The successful candidate will lead the implementation of the required EHS programs and safety culture initiatives for our offices located in the JAPAC region and will support office moves, expansion, and normal operation of the office.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and project management skills as well as a broad understanding of EHS disciplines. The candidate will lead office safety, fleet and pedestrian safety, safety culture and any other programs as required and act as a liaison with the Occupational Health group for injury management and workers compensation processes. Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of the EHS programs and safety culture initiatives for JAPAC including:

Complying with local and country regulatory requirements

Aligning with Amgen policies, procedures, and expectations

Implementing and sustaining the Driver Safety Program

Establishing training, communication, and awareness plans
-
Building a strong ergonomics program and related processes

Collaborating with key partners and office leadership teams

Conducting trend analysis and communicating with leadership

What we expect of you
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree OR

Master’s degree and 2 years of directly related experience OR

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of directly related experience OR

Associate’s degree and 10 years of directly related experience OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Fleet and Pedestrian Safety

Ergonomics knowledge

Project Management experience

Knowledge of EHS regulations as they pertain to office-based operations

Strong communication and presentation skills, action oriented, self-starting, program development and project management.
