We are currently recruiting for Paraplanner jobs in Southampton with a well-established and highly respected financial planning firm. This opportunity would suit an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a professional and supportive environment where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial advice. The Role
Working closely with Financial Planners, you will provide technical support across a broad range of financial planning areas, ensuring advice is accurate, compliant, and tailored to client needs. Responsibilities will include:
- Writing suitability reports across pensions, investments, and protection
- Undertaking detailed technical research to support recommendations
- Maintaining accurate and compliant client records (KYC)
- Supporting Financial Planners in achieving positive client outcomes
- Assisting with client meetings and cashflow modelling where required
- Managing workloads effectively to meet deadlines
- Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Supporting wider team initiatives and projects
About You
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS)
- Strong paraplanning experience with solid technical knowledge
- Experience producing high-quality written advice
- Working towards Chartered status (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
