AMG Recruitment is an employment business that provides Textile Personnel around the UK. Due to continued success and growth, our client is looking for Sewing Machinists in Northampton. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a permanent basis.
Starting Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Contract Period: Permanent
Holidays: 20 days plus Bank Holidays.
Working hours: Monday to Friday (Apply online only)
Breaks: 30 mins lunch break and two 15 min breaks
Products: Bespoke contract furniture and soft furnishings for universities and colleges, schools, care homes and commercial interiors.
Duties
- Some experience in Sewing heavy materials or experience in sewing fabris for furniture.
- Proven experience as a sewing machinist.
- Ability to read and interpret upholstery patterns and blueprints..
- Knowledge of different types of fabric and materials used in upholstery.

Pay: Up to 32,000.00 per year
