Overview


We are currently recruiting a full-time trainer who will be responsible for the delivery of our induction training programme within our branches located in Chester and Crewe. Applicants can reside in any of the locations or surrounding areas. In addition to the delivery of induction training, this role will also include the delivery of annual updates and more specialist topics to our existing care staff.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and deliver training programs in health and social care.

  • Utilise public speaking skills to engage participants and enhance learning experiences.

  • Assess trainee progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Ensure compliance with care standards and maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to align training with industry needs.

  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions and participant achievements.

  • Uphold effective communication with trainees and stakeholders to foster a supportive learning environment.


Requirements / Qualifications



  • Minimum of three years\\\' experience working within the care sector.

  • Training experience is desirable with certification in moving and handling train the trainer and level 3 award in education and training.

  • A sound knowledge of The Care Certificate advantageous.

  • A full driving licence and the use of your own vehicle is essential for this position.

  • On occasion, delivery of bespoke training may take place within a service user\\\'s property; therefore, a clear DBS check is essential for this position.

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00, with 25 days\\\' annual leave per year plus bank holidays.
