- Companionship and emotional support Offering a friendly ear, sharing conversation, watching TV, and providing comfort.
- Personal care Assisting with daily hygiene, such as bathing, dressing, shaving, and oral care, as well as continence support when needed.
- Household help Taking care of chores like vacuuming, washing clothes, and other tasks to maintain a clean and inviting home1.
- Meal preparation Cooking nutritious meals and helping with shopping.
- Administering medication Ensuring clients take their medication as prescribed.
- Mobility assistance Helping clients move around their home and accompanying them on outings.
- Engaging in activities Participating in hobbies, social activities, and other leisure pursuits with clients.
