About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial support to our Commercial and Procurement functions.
Partnering closely with the AMF Commercial & Procurement Director, Heads of Department and Group Finance, you will provide the insight, challenge and commercial guidance needed to support key business decisions, improve performance and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
You will build trusted relationships across the business while confidently challenging senior stakeholders and helping to shape the future direction of the company.
Responsibilities
- Provide weekly reporting, trend and variance analysis, commentary and recommendations.
- Develop insightful commercial analysis, reporting and KPI dashboards.
- Lead annual budgeting and bi‑monthly reforecasting processes.
- Own month‑end reporting and financial controls across AMF Finance.
- Support commercial tenders and business proposals for one of the UK's largest supermarket chains.
- Work with Operations Finance and Procurement to develop and maintain accurate costing standards.
- Improve financial systems, processes and controls.
- Support the continued development of ERP systems across the wider business.
- Work alongside Operational and Group Finance teams to improve end‑to‑end decision‑making and standardise processes.
About You
You will be a qualified accountant with proven business partnering experience and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification.
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience.
- The ability to interpret and present financial insight clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, influencing and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work at pace.
- Experience improving financial controls and processes.
- Advanced Excel skills.
Experience within fresh produce or manufacturing would be advantageous. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI and Power Query would also be desirable.
