About The Role

We're looking for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to coordinate and deliver improvement projects across our Peterborough site.

Reporting to the Head of Production, you'll work with colleagues across departments to take agreed projects forward, organise activity and keep delivery on track. You'll use data and structured problem-solving to help improve efficiency, reduce waste and strengthen quality and service.

You'll lead smaller projects and support larger Green Belt and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring actions are completed and improvements are embedded.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating assigned improvement projects, tracking actions, timescales and progress through to completion.
  • Leading smaller projects using tools such as A3, PDCA, 5 Whys and standard work.
  • Supporting Green Belt and cross-functional projects through data collection, workshops and action tracking.
  • Analysing performance data and working with colleagues to understand the causes of recurring problems.
  • Maintaining project trackers, action logs and benefit records, providing clear updates and escalating barriers.
  • Helping colleagues use practical problem-solving tools and facilitating improvement workshops.
  • Ensuring changes are assessed, trialled, documented and embedded, with benefits measured and verified.
  • Maintaining food safety, health and safety and operational standards throughout project delivery.

About You

You'll be organised, practical and comfortable working with people across different departments. You'll enjoy understanding problems, using data and keeping projects moving.

We're looking for:

  • Experience in manufacturing, production, logistics or a similar operational environment.
  • Evidence of solving process problems and working effectively with frontline teams.
  • Working knowledge of PDCA, A3 thinking, 5 Whys, visual management and standard work.
  • Strong numerical and Excel skills, with the ability to turn data into clear actions.
  • Clear communication skills and the confidence to facilitate discussions and constructively challenge.
  • A Lean / LCS Yellow Belt qualification or equivalent.

Green Belt, Power BI or experience with digital improvement and manufacturing performance systems would be advantageous.
