This is a critical leadership role, responsible for ensuring financial integrity, supporting strategic decision-making and guiding a high-performing finance team through a period of transformation.
In this role, you will take ownership of accurate and timely weekly and monthly UK Group performance reporting, while leading forecasting, budgeting and IFRS compliance across multiple UK entities. You will manage the external audit process and statutory accounts for eight legal entities, ensuring robust governance and regulatory compliance. You will oversee UK cashflow, liquidity and banking relationships, while ensuring compliance with UK and international tax obligations.
Leading the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Finance Administration teams, you will drive clear KPIs, improve processes and strengthen internal controls across the function. A key part of the role will be supporting major system implementations, including Microsoft D365 and EMBAT planned for 2026. You will provide commercial insight and clear financial leadership to senior stakeholders, helping to shape decision-making and support business performance.
To be successful, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with strong interim finance leadership experience in complex, multi-entity organisations, typically operating at £500m+ turnover. You will be commercially minded, highly analytical and delivery-focused, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Able to balance business-as-usual delivery with continuous improvement, you will quickly build credibility, take ownership and motivate high-performing teams in fast-paced, transformational environments.
