Our communication for guests, artists, staff, and guest relations is centralised into "The Butler," a key client-facing role that is often the main contact with AMFE. The Butler serves as the control center for all client communication and guest relations. This anonymous person behind "The Butler" must be clear, factual, motivated, and resourceful.
This position is offered on a self-employed contractor basis, meaning successful candidates will operate as independent contractors, invoicing us for services rendered.
As The Butler - Remote Concierge Coordinator at AMFE, you will act as the primary liaison between AMFE guests and the AMFE team. Your role will involve providing proactive, strategic support to deliver exceptional guest relations during tours, festivals, and special events worldwide. This is a remote, desk-based role requiring 8 hours per day. Candidates must be available for international travel for major tours and prepared to manage various time zones during peak periods, though core operations are based in CET.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in events, arts, or entertainment, with a strong focus on artist travel and touring logistics.
- Extensive hospitality industry knowledge, ideally with hotel concierge desk experience (BA/BSc in Hospitality or Business preferred).
- Exceptional customer service skills, with experience managing clients’ day-to-day requirements including travel, drivers, hotel bookings, activities, and bespoke requests.
- Excellent written English (additional languages advantageous).
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and guests during tours, managing travel, event, and leisure arrangements.
- Planning, arranging, and supporting all travel logistics to ensure seamless experiences for guests and the team.
- The Butler needs to be the definitive source of all information on all guests, locations, and needs, ensuring that every request is handled promptly and to the highest standard.
- Acting as a bridge between guests and the AMFE team, providing accurate and timely information regarding travel, transport, venues, and events.
- The Butler acts as a control center, responsible for efficiently delegating tasks to the wider AMFE team and following up to ensure completion within an agreed timeframe.
- Coordinating all guest arrivals and departures, ensuring smooth logistics and a consistent level of service.
- Ensuring that health and safety standards are maintained at all times for guests and staff, while upholding quality control measures.
- Contributing innovative ideas and feedback to enhance the guest experience and service delivery.
