Our client, a large manufacturing business based near Brighouse, has an immediate requirement to recruit a well-versed CNC Turner.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting and operating CNC machines in the company in-house machine shop
- Setting and operating single spindle CNC machines
- Inspection of colleagues' and one's own work
- Editing Fanuc controlled programs
- Working within a team environment to achieve world-class manufacturing
- Ensuring smooth transition between shifts
Ideal candidates will be apprentice trained engineers equivalent to NVQ Level 3. This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work a rotating early and late shift pattern:
- Week 1 - 6am - 2pm Monday to Thursday & 6am - 11:30am on a Friday
- Week 2 - 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday & 11:30am - 5pm on a Friday
In return, you can expect an hourly rate of £17.95 - £20.55 per hour depending on experience, plus a shift allowance of 20% when on late shift.
