Our client based in the Normanton area has an immediate requirement to recruit 2 well-versed Flexographic Printers to join their team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Produce products to the required quality standards whilst maintaining non-negotiable health and safety standards.
  • Ensure all jobs are printed accurately and to customers' specifications as set out on Works Docket / Instructions.
  • Carry out appropriate quality checks in accordance with quality and standards operating procedures; document, flag, and record any defects or incorrect prints on the company's systems.
  • Achieve maximum outputs and efficiencies during the shift in line with the Shift Manager's guidance and departmental/business KPIs.
  • Maintain and clean down the machine in line with usage.
  • Ensure an efficient handover to the following shift to ensure smooth continuous production of jobs.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, quality, and hygiene policies required by the company at all times.
  • Keep the area, equipment, and machinery clean and tidy in accordance with the relevant procedures during the shift.
  • Report machine breakdowns to the Shift Manager/Co-ordinator as soon as possible after they occur, striving to ensure minimum disruption to the team.
  • Assist in the general preventative maintenance of the machine.

This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work the following shift pattern:

  • Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday DAYS (6am - 6pm)
  • Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday NIGHTS (6pm - 6am)
  • Week 3 - Monday & Tuesday DAYS, Wednesday OFF, Thursday and Friday NIGHTS

In return, you can expect a starting salary of £35,484 - £41,200 dependent on previous experience.
