Our client, a large manufacturing business has an immediate requirement for a well versed Maintenance Electrician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Part of a multi-skilled team across three sites, you will be involved in all aspects of electrical work in a high quality, fast paced manufacturing site working on existing plant and the development of new plant and machinery.
- Installation and wiring
- Facilities maintenance
- Plant and machinery
- Panels and control systems
- Breakdowns and repairs
Work/Relevant Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in similar role
- Experience working with machine and plant maintenance and breakdowns
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Computer literate
- Holds a good understanding of general engineering principles
- Installation and Wiring Experience
- Panels & control Systems Experience
- Familiar with PLC controls and programming
- Knowledge of PID temperature controls
Formal Qualifications:
- A City and Guilds or similar qualification in Electrical Maintenance (Apprenticeship)
- City & Guilds 18th Edition
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work a rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1 (6am -2pm Monday to Thursday & 6am - 11:30am on a Friday)
- Week 2 (2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday and 11:30am - 5pm on a Friday)
In return you can expect a salary of £42814 plus a fantastic benefits package.
