Our client, a large manufacturing business based near Brighouse, has an immediate requirement to recruit a well-versed CNC Turner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating for CNC Machines in the Company in-house machine shop
- Setting and operating of single spindle CNC Machines
- Inspection of colleagues' and one's own work
- Editing Fanuc controlled programs
- Working within a team environment to achieve world-class manufacturing
- Ensure smooth transition between shifts
- Strive to achieve improvement within the cell
- Work to safe health and safety instructions
Skills/Experience:
- Worked in a similar environment/industry
- Be able to use engineering measuring equipment
- Be able to read engineering drawings
- Able to communicate effectively
- Experience working with Stainless Steel and Exotic material
- Ideal candidates will be apprentice trained engineers equivalent to NVQ Level 3
This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work a rotating early and late shift pattern:
- Week 1 - 6am - 2pm Monday to Thursday & 6am - 11:30am on a Friday
- Week 2 - 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday & 11:30am - 5pm on a Friday
In return, you can expect an hourly rate of £15.67 plus a 15% shift allowance, equating to a salary of £35,140 before any overtime.
