MECHANICAL FITTER BRADFORD/SHELF AREA

DAYS 7am Start, 3.45pm finish - AND EARLY FRIDAY FINISH

Our client, a medium sized manufacturing business based in Bradford/shelf area have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed Mechanical Fitter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, with the ability to assemble various arrangements, fitment of bearings, drives, couplings and similar components. Knowledge of fan systems would be ideal.

The role is a varied position, which will involve other similar tasks dependent on the current work load. This role also offers a clear path for promotion, with a view to being a team leader and all the benefits this brings.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Fitting bearings, drives and couplings.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Working hours - 7am to 3.45pm Monday to Thursday, with a 12 noon finish on Friday. 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays. This is a permanent role from day one where you will be expected to work a regular day shift Monday to Friday. In return you can expect an hourly rate of £14.50 to £19.00 dependant on previous experience.
