Our client, a large manufacturing business based near Brighouse, has an immediate requirement to recruit a number of well-versed CNC Turner/Machinists across various shifts. Our client values its employees and once there, very few leave. The right CNC Turner/Machinist role will consist, but won't be limited to the following:
- Setting and operating CNC Machines in the Company in-house machine shop
- Setting and operating single spindle CNC Machines
- Inspection of colleagues' and one's own work
- Editing Fanuc controlled programs
- Working within a team environment to achieve world-class manufacturing
- Ensuring smooth transition between shifts
- Striving to achieve improvement within the cell
- Working to safe health and safety instructions
Skills/Experience:
- Worked in a similar environment/industry
- Be able to use engineering measuring equipment
- Be able to read engineering drawings
- Able to communicate effectively
- Experience working with Stainless Steel and Exotic material
These are permanent positions, and depending on the shifts, the hours will be: Earlies - 6am - 2pm Monday to Thursday.
