Our client, a medium sized manufacturing business based in Bradford/Shelf area have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed Mechanical/Assembly Fitter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, with the ability to assemble various arrangements, inclusive of direct motor driven and also belt and pulley arrangements. The role is a varied position, which will involve other similar tasks dependent on the current work load. This role also offers a clear path for promotion, with a view to being a team leader and all the benefits this brings.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Mechanical/Assembly Fitter or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Working hours - 7am to 3.45pm Monday to Thursday, with a 12 noon finish on Friday. 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays. This is a permanent role from day one where you will be expected to work a regular day shift Monday to Friday. In return you can expect an hourly rate of £16.50 to £19.00 dependant on previous experience.
