PERMANENT TEST ENGINEER - HYDRAULICS Our client is small and friendly, family-owned hydraulic engineering company based on the Euroway Estate just off the M606 in Bradford. Established in 1984, yet they work in partnership with five of the worlds leading hydraulic manufacturers and have built a strong reputation for quality and reliability. They are looking for an Assistant Hydraulic Test Engineer to join their experienced test team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer or someone with a strong engineering background who wants to build and develop specialist hydraulic skills. The ideal hyrdualic test engineer will work within the test department, youll be involved in a wide variety of testing and hydraulic work. Youll be expected to work independently or as part of a team, producing high-quality work to tight tolerances with a right-first-time and can do attitude. Testing hydraulic pumps, motors and ancillary equipment Compiling test certificates and performance graphs Fault finding and detailed inspection work Working on units from a variety of manufacturers Ongoing in-house training and mentoring Access to external training courses and manufacturer-led courses The opportunity to grow into a highly skilled hydraulic test engineer NVQ Level 3 mechanical qualification or equivalent Competent in IT skills and usage of Microsoft programs. Ability to understand and follow hydraulic/mechanical drawings and schematics.
