Our client is a Yorkshire based manufacturer of fan and smoke extraction systems, ranging from car park ventilation systems to tunnel ventilation. With a nationwide reputation, they have a service division that performs PPM around the UK for their own systems as well as their competitors'. Due to continued growth and expansion, they require an experienced and technically knowledgeable service administrator to quote and estimate for customers of the service division. The role is varied, detailed and integral to the success of the company, and will involve:
- Analyse customer requirements, project specifications, and site conditions to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare detailed quotations and proposals for service and maintenance projects, ensuring alignment with company pricing standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technicians to determine resource needs and timelines.
- Evaluate labour, materials, equipment, and other costs required for project completion.
- Engage with clients to clarify project details and resolve inquiries about quotations or services offered.
- Provide professional advice and recommendations to customers regarding cost-effective solutions.
- Follow up on submitted quotations to secure contracts and gather feedback for future improvement.
You will already have a background in a manufacturing company or be from a similar role of a service administrator or technical sales position and want that next step up as you will be reporting directly to the divisional manager and be autonomous with your work.
