Our client, a medium sized manufacturing business based in Bradford/Shelf area, has an immediate requirement to recruit a well-versed Mechanical Fitter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, with the ability to assemble various arrangements, including direct motor driven and belt and pulley arrangements. The role is varied and will involve other similar tasks depending on the current workload. This role also offers a clear path for promotion, with a view to becoming a team leader and all the benefits this brings.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Working hours: 7am to 3.45pm Monday to Thursday, with a 12 noon finish on Friday. 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays. This is a permanent role from day one where you will be expected to work a regular day shift Monday to Friday. In return, you can expect an hourly rate of £16.50 to £19.00 depending on previous experience.
