Our client, a large manufacturing business based near Huddersfield, have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed Maintenance Electrician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Part of a multi-skilled team, you will be involved in all aspects of electrical work in a high quality, fast paced manufacturing site working on existing plant and the development of new plant and machinery.
- Installation and wiring
- Facilities maintenance
- Plant and machinery
- Panels and control systems
- Breakdowns and repairs
Formal Qualifications:
- A City and Guilds or similar qualification in Electrical Maintenance (Apprenticeship)
- City & Guilds 18th Edition
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
Personal Skills:
- Understanding of H&S procedures
- Team player
- Positive attitude
- Creative and able to work under own initiative and also as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure
Work/Relevant Experience:
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience working with machine and plant maintenance and breakdowns
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Computer literate
- Holds a good understanding of general engineering principles
- Installation and Wiring Experience
- Panels & control Systems Experience
- Familiar with PLC controls and programming
- Knowledge of PID temperature controls
This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work the following hours:
- Week 1 - 6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am to 11:30am Friday
- Week 2 - 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday and 11:30am - 5pm on a Friday
In return you can expect a salary of £38610 - £44101.
