Our client, a large manufacturing business based near Brighouse, has an immediate requirement to recruit a well-versed CNC Turner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting and operating for CNC Machines in the Company in-house machine shop
  • Setting and operating of single spindle CNC Machines
  • Inspection of colleague’s and one’s own work
  • Editing Fanuc controlled programs
  • Working within a team environment to achieve world-class manufacturing
  • Ensure smooth transition between shifts
  • Strive to achieve improvement within the cell
  • Work to safe health and safety instructions

Skills/Experience:

  • Worked in a similar environment / Industry
  • Be able to use engineering measuring equipment
  • Be able to read engineering drawings
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Experience working with Stainless Steel and Exotic material

Ideal candidates will be apprentice trained engineers equivalent to NVQ Level 3. This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work a rotating early and late shift pattern.

Week 1 - 6am - 2pm Monday to Thursday & 6am - 11:30am on a Friday

Week 2 - 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday & 11:30am - 5pm on a Friday.

In return, you can expect an hourly rate of £16.14 + 15% shift allowance (£18.56 per hour). This equates to a salary of £36,194 before any overtime.
