The predicted salary is between 27825 - 27825 £ per year.
Our client, a small to medium sized manufacturing business, has an immediate requirement to recruit a well-versed FLT Operator to join their team.
Main purpose: To ensure manufacturing is supplied with all items of Raw material or W.I.P, in time and to the correct location or machine and to move materials around the site as required.
Main Duties:
- Supply each manufacturing machine with the necessary materials as listed on the production plan or as instructed.
- Remove all packaging before supplying to relevant machine.
- Move material around the site as required.
- Wrap all finished pallets as per packing specification.
- Remove all waste from within the factory and place in allocated area.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles if required.
- Assist other departments in times of high workloads.
The ideal candidate will have:
- In date counterbalance licence.
- A Reach licence is preferred but not essential.
- Be well organised and able to plan.
- Good attention to detail.
- Team player with an enthusiastic approach.
- Willing and flexible.
- Good understanding of health & safety, environment and quality.
This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work the following shift pattern:
- Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (06:00 - 18:15).
- Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (18:00 - 06:15).
- Week 3 - Monday and Tuesday (06:00 - 18:15), Wednesday off, Thursday and Friday (18:00 - 06:15).
In return you can expect a starting salary of £27,825.
