Our Client
Is a leading and fast-growing provider of maintenance support, services and hire of state of the art lithium powered forklifts to commercial industry and business.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Forklift Service Engineer to provide routine and emergency maintenance, service and support in the Yorkshire and Humber region, onsite at customer premises.
They currently have a large customer base which includes a high amount of electrical equipment, so you must have the ability to prove you have sound electrical knowledge and experience, but also a can do attitude and a willingness to learn this new technology of the future.
As the successful service engineer your will be include....
- Servicing and repair of forklifts as directed by the Service Manager.
- Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient, ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Completing a service report for each job on a PDA system.
- Reporting to the Service Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities.....
- Solid experience with forklifts.
- Confident Electrical knowledge.
- City & Guilds in mechanics or equivalent qualification is ideal but not essential, this could be time served
- Be well-organised, methodical and process-driven.
- Ability to think outside the box, adept at finding solutions.
- Good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure.
- Present a professional image - be trustworthy, punctual and polite.
- Good team player.
While the above is the ideal candidate for a forklift engineer, if you have been a well served and confident service engineer, full training will be given for the right attitude.
