CNC Turner (Programmer/Setter/Operator) based in Brighouse. Permanent position with working hours from 08:00 - 16:50 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 12:15 on a Friday.

Duties:

  • Responsible for programming, editing, setting and operating CNC turning machines.
  • Ability to program Fanuc and Siemens based programs.
  • Producing finished components to quality requirements.
  • Attend and complete any training courses if required.
  • Experience of working with small batches and single components.
  • Work to tight limits in a high precision environment.
  • Maintain workshop housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • Background in CNC turning.
  • Previous experience of working with FANUC or SIEMENS.
  • Able to work to engineering drawings with minimum supervision.
  • Able to complete tasks using own initiative.
  • Willingness to comply with all HSQE requirements and procedural controls.
  • Strong housekeeping and continuous improvement ethic.
  • Strong team member and willing to assist wherever required.
  • Skilled in manual handling.
  • Honest and reliable.

Hourly rate of up to Β£20 per hour, with the opportunity for this role to lead to a supervisory position for the right individual.
