CNC Turner (Programmer/Setter/Operator) based in Brighouse. Permanent position with working hours from 08:00 - 16:50 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 12:15 on a Friday.
Duties:
- Responsible for programming, editing, setting and operating CNC turning machines.
- Ability to program Fanuc and Siemens based programs.
- Producing finished components to quality requirements.
- Attend and complete any training courses if required.
- Experience of working with small batches and single components.
- Work to tight limits in a high precision environment.
- Maintain workshop housekeeping.
Requirements:
- Background in CNC turning.
- Previous experience of working with FANUC or SIEMENS.
- Able to work to engineering drawings with minimum supervision.
- Able to complete tasks using own initiative.
- Willingness to comply with all HSQE requirements and procedural controls.
- Strong housekeeping and continuous improvement ethic.
- Strong team member and willing to assist wherever required.
- Skilled in manual handling.
- Honest and reliable.
Hourly rate of up to Β£20 per hour, with the opportunity for this role to lead to a supervisory position for the right individual.
