CNC Turner / Machinist in the Brighouse Area
PERMANENT positions available with shifts of 6-2 / 2-10, Perm Days, Perm Lates, or Perm Nights.
Salary up to £47k or an hourly rate of £24.15.
Our client, a large manufacturing business based near Brighouse, has an immediate requirement to recruit several well-versed CNC Turner / Machinists across various shifts. The company values its employees, and once there, very few leave. The role will consist of, but is not limited to, the following:
- Setting and operating CNC Machines in the Company in-house machine shop
- Setting and operating single spindle CNC Machines
- Inspection of colleagues’ and one’s own work
- Editing Fanuc controlled programmes
- Working within a team environment to achieve world-class manufacturing
- Ensuring smooth transition between shifts
- Striving to achieve improvement within the cell
- Working to safe health and safety instructions
Skills/Experience required:
- Experience in a similar environment/industry
- Ability to use engineering measuring equipment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Effective communication skills
- Experience working with Stainless Steel and Exotic materials
