AMF MEP is a leader in mechanical, electrical and public health engineering solutions, delivering innovative designs and advanced technologies across various industries. Our focus is on MEP design in the construction industry for predominantly residential and commercial projects. We specialise in RIBA Stage 4 & 5 Construction projects, with a commitment to engineering excellence.
This is a full-time remote role for a Principal Mechanical Engineer. The Principal Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and development of mechanical systems, oversee machine design and CAD projects, and coordinate R&D activities. The individual will also manage project timelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure all engineering solutions align with client requirements and industry standards.
Minimum Requirements
- The successful candidate will possess self-motivation and an ability to run and manage teams of engineers and Revit modellers.
- Minimum 8 years experience in stage 4 & 5 design and coordination.
- Degree in mechanical engineering or building services.
- Aspirations to reach CEng chartership and career progression.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Public Health Design.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and/or reviewing models in Navis Works.
- Proven ability in Project Management, including planning, execution, and team leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written English and verbal communication abilities.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Prior experience in a leadership role within the building services sector.
